there are two monitors before you. the 3:4 ratio screens are dark. slowly the black fades to reveal a story. sometimes the monitors play at the same time, sometimes they show you the same picture. other times they show you completely different things. sometimes one is asleep. you begin to understand that they are talking to each other as much as they are to you.

venus rising in blue is a two-screen video installation on archival crt monitors exploring ideas of art, femininity, and the colour blue in a stream-of-consciousness narrative, using the colour blue as a catalyst for these ideas.
